Dadar is one of Mumbai’s densest, most visible neighbourhoods — buildings sit close together and are seen from every angle, which leaves little room to hide the service side of a tower. At Nandhivardhan Monopoly, the duct areas needed screening that would hold up to that constant visibility, running as clean off-white bands up the elevation rather than the bare service shafts they’d otherwise be.

Upvc for the exposure Dadar brings. In a dense, high-traffic area, façades take more dust and pollution than a quieter suburb. Upvc’s finish doesn’t need the periodic repainting a painted metal duct cover would in the same conditions.
Result
The duct areas at Nandhivardhan Monopoly now read as intentional off-white vertical bands running up the tower, rather than exposed service shafts — a cleaner elevation in a location where the building is seen from every side.
